Five Inspired Seasnax POTG Recipes

Five Inspired Seasnax POTG Recipes

We have partnered with Seasnax – Strangely Addictive seaweed snacks to share with our subscribers. Executive Chef Ann Lotterhos decided to create some recipes using samples they sent us. She has created five delicious dishes for you to create at home. Some simple, some a little more complex, but all made with real food ingredients. And best of all they are all fully Autoimmune Protocol compliant and delicious! Check them out below.

Seasnax Salmon Hand Rolls

Temaki Sushi is also known as “hand roll”. I learned something new, traditionally all the ingredients would be placed on the table and each person would choose what they wanted and roll their own. Kind of like a sushi buffet. Here is a video on how to make your own Hand Roll. We don’t use any rice in our, simply vegetables and fresh fish. Enjoy!

Sushi Bowl with Nori/Sea Salt Sprinkle

This would be a great dish to take to work for lunch. Make sure to purchase sashimi quality salmon and tuna, it really makes a big difference. We used the Toasted Onion Nori Sheets (my favorite!) to make this dish, a favorite here at Paleo on the Go. You don't have to use tuna and salmon if you don't want to. Whichever fish you decide, just double up on the quantity.

Crispy Skin Salmon with Seaweed Salad and Ginger Dressing

Crispy Skin Salmon with Seaweed Salad and Ginger Dressing

I do enjoy seafood, mostly shellfish but I have never been a fan of salmon. I have tried many different preparations but I just didn’t care for it. That is until I started working here at Paleo on the Go. We use Scottish Salmon and it is delicious! The SeaVegi Seaweed Salad Mix is pretty cool too. It adds a lot of color and texture to the salad. And the crispy salmon skin…Yum!

Tuna Poké with Toasty Onion Nori

Tuna Poké with Toasty Onion Nori

It seems “Poké Bowls” are the latest restaurant trend, at least here in Florida they are popping up all over. They are thought to have originated in Native Hawaiin Cuisine. Chef has created this AIP Tuna Poké with Toasted Onion Nori from Seasnax so you can make your own at home! We love the color and textures from the Seavegi Seaweed Salad mix from Seasnax. It makes for a beautiful healthy meal. The Ginger Salad Dressing is delicious too!

Chicken Nori Ginger Meatballs with Asian Nori Pesto

Chicken Nori Ginger Meatballs with Asian Nori Pesto

Ok, this is a delicious recipe. The chicken meatballs are super tasty but the star here is the Asian Nori Pesto. It isn’t exactly the most appetizing looking thing you will ever make but wow, it is amazing! It has a wonderful garlicky nutty flavor that is all kinds of savory goodness. Who knew seaweed’s flavor was so complex? This was by far my favorite recipe and would make a satisfying meal even without the meatballs. This would be great with shrimp too! Check out the recipe now!
