6 Minute Paleo Coleslaw

Coleslaw is an All-American classic food that brings up warm memories, reminding us of BBQs, family gatherings, and maybe even grandma's coleslaw recipe that has been carried down through generations. It's also really easy to do. Everyone has their favorite recipe. The coleslaw possibilities are endless as available ingredients. You can customize our recipe to fit whatever flavors you enjoy, or even ethnicity. This dish feels right home next to some of our favorite comfort foods like BBQ Pulled Pork or Cuban Style Mojo Wings.

PALEO COLESLAW

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. green cabbage very thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, peeled and grated
  • ½ cup paleo mayonnaise
  • 1 T. white vinegar
  • 1 T. honey
  • ¼ tsp. sea salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. celery seed (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix all ingredients together and chill for at least an hour before serving.
