It's important for us to stress that you use natural dyes no matter your lifestyle. Most products on the market are full of chemicals. We found Color Garden. Color Garden produces pure, natural food colors that are 100% plant based. Each order of our AIP Sugar Cookie Dough comes with one packet of icing. You can divide it up to make small batches of a few colors, or dye the entire packet one color. Whatever you decide, add 2 or 3 drops and mix thoroughly. If the color of the icing is to your liking, have fun decorating. If not keep adding the natural food coloring until you achieve the desired color. INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup of coconut butter, softened in microwave until creamy
- 1 cup coconut cream
- ¾ cup honey
- 1 T. vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix all ingredients until well combined. Keep refrigerated until ready to decorate.
- Add natural food dye's to color your icing. Remember to add a few drops at a time, then mix thoroughly until you achieve the desired color.
