Naturally Color Paleo on the Go's Vanilla Icing

Are you wishing that our vanilla icing that comes with our cookie dough came in an array of beautiful colors? We have a solution. Paleo on the Go wanted to show you how to color the icing DIY style. It's important for us to stress that you use natural dyes no matter your lifestyle. Most products on the market are full of chemicals. So finding the right natural, easy to use dye for our audience was imperative.

Do You Love Decorating Cookies?

We found Color Garden. Color Garden produces pure, natural food colors that are 100% plant based. Each order of our AIP Sugar Cookie Dough comes with one packet of icing. You can divide it up to make small batches of a few colors, or dye the entire packet one color. Whatever you decide, add 2 or 3 drops and mix thoroughly. If the color of the icing is to your liking, have fun decorating. If not keep adding the natural food coloring until you achieve the desired color. Then you are all set to decorate!

Have fun, take a picture of your decorated cookies and share them with us on Instagram or Facebook!
