Grilled Pineapple with Ginger and Cumin

This is a simple and delectable side to accompany your favorite grilled protein. Do you have trouble picking the perfect pineapple? They can be really good, but then they can also be tough, sour and dry. It can be daunting, standing in the produce section trying to make a decision. You smell, touch and feel and make your choice. GRILLED PINEAPPLE WITH GINGER AND CUMIN 

Grilled Pineapple with Ginger and Cumin

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pineapple, peeled and cored
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Preheat grill
    2. Combine the seasonings in a bowl.
    3. Cut the pineapple into 3/4 inch slices. Rub both sides with a pinch of the seasoning.
    4. Grill alongside your favourite meat, 10-15 minutes, flipping once.
