An Ode To POTG Empanadas
Recently, we were discussing our empanadas here at Paleo On The Go. We went around the room noting what each of us thinks makes them so special. We know they’re consistently top sellers. But, we wanted to dive a little deeper!
Here’s what we think makes our AIP-compliant Empanadas so out-of-this-world:
They’re Handheld.
This is something you don’t often (almost ever?) see with AIP-friendly food. Sure, steak and broccoli will fill you up, but that’s not exactly something you can eat while on a road trip.
Our empanadas were crafted with convenience in mind. You get all of the great ingredients and nutrition you’re used to with POTG, in a handheld format! Talk about ingenuity.
They’re Literally Pockets of Deliciousness.
Let’s not forget that they simply taste incredible.
As chefs always say, a dish is only as good as its ingredients. And, the ingredients here are always beyond top notch. The filling is meticulously crafted in our kitchen, using top quality produce and spices, and, of course, humanely-raised meats.
Once we nail the filling, we bring it to our bakery department to be folded into our proprietary AIP empanada dough made with high-quality cassava flour. It’s hand-filled with love, then shipped right to your doorstep!
They Have Unlimited Possibilities.
As AIP-creatives, one of our favorite aspects about our empanadas is that they serve as a blank canvas for our culinary ideas. Whether sweet or savory, surf or turf, hearty or light, virtually anything can be wrapped in our empanada dough! The possibilities are endless.
