POTG Pesto Sauce

Pesto sauce originated in Genoa Italy and traditionally contains pine nuts and cheese. Both definitely not AIP. The coconut cream replaces the cheeses that would normally be used creating a delicious, creamy sauce that is clean, delicious and versatile. Use it as a sauce for your favorite pasta replacement or as a dip for crudite. Or for dipping wings!

extra virgin olive oil
Native Forest coconut milk (organic coconut, purified water) *BPA free cans, No Guar gum
fresh basil
arrowroot powder
sea salt
Must be received and stored frozen (up to 6 months). Remove from the freezer and thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Transfer sauce to a small saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring frequently until hot  (165°F). This will take approximately 5-7 minutes. Microwave Instructions: Remove lid and heat 2-3 minutes until hot (165°F).
